Bio Suisse bestows products that pack the most pleasure for consumers’ palates with the “Organic Gourmet Bud”. A panel of specialists evaluates the appearance, aroma, taste, texture, balance and aftertaste of the products. The products with the highest score from the first tasting are then evaluated by a second panel. Top chefs and restaurateurs provide personal feedback. Particularly outstanding products are also awarded with a special prize.
HALBA’s Madagascar chocolate with 82% cacao not only received the 2020 Bio Suisse Gourmet Bud, but also the special prize.
